Overview
Architected and developed EcoSphere, a production full-stack enterprise ESG and carbon-tracking platform built with React/Next.js, TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and JWT authentication. The application centralizes organizational emissions data across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, while integrating engaging gamification features—such as challenges, leaderboards, learning modules, and quizzes—to motivate corporate sustainability adoption.
The objective
Organizations often struggle to engage employees and stakeholders in sustainability initiatives, relying on disconnected spreadsheets and static reports with inconsistent data. The objective was to build an intuitive, interactive full-stack platform that pairs robust carbon accounting with behavioral gamification.
Outcome & learnings
